Everyone is forgotten eventually, you might as well USE your platform to milk the public like Beyst does. Nobody is going to give a **** about Rihanna's little singles and half filled stadiums in 20 years, but at least she'll be holed up in some island mansion. Streaming artists with pitiful sales like Ariana or whoever tf you guys consider "relevant" to the current GP will be far worse off.
Streaming has proved to be more profitable to labels than sales. It's just that artists get a smaller percentage from it's revenue than they do from their album sales, but not like minimum wage or something like you're trying to make it look
