I like Across The Sky too. If it had been included, it would have been one of the best songs on the album.
I also listened to the album version of Stay, the '81 demo, and Don't You Know (again ). DYK > '81 > Stay

After literally 1 hour of playing Love Profusion, I read that Madonna reschedule some shows and that tickets were made available. Less than 45 minutes later, I got tickets and I don't even own 1 Madonna album. Love Profusion, HA POWER.

She has just delivered a great album , it's not a matter of 'trend-hopping' or 'releasing something innovative' .

I get it. It was my first Madonna album, will always have a special place in me. But she has written so many better songs than the ones on COADF. As a body of work it's awesome to listen to, but it's one of those albums where there's not really a song that's strong enough to stand up against say, "Ray Of Light" title track or "Like A Prayer" title track.
Hung Up is a cute little sister for Vogue though.

And let's not do TNBT too harshly when it gave us the impeccable Time Stood Still.
