A dead mother doesn't make a Targ. The theory is that Tyrion/Cersei/Jamie's mother was raped by the mad king and became pregnant with Tyrion making him a Targ. It's hinted at because at a certain point it's commented on that Lady Joanna was the queen's lady-in-waiting and at some point she dismissed her along with many others from the court (many of who were rumoured to have been either raped or been mistresses of the king). She was at a tourney later on which the king attended and he insulted her. A year later Tyrion was born deformed (which has at times happened to Targaryen children).
That said book readers say that the timelines don't really match up and thematically it doesn't really work either.

Rickon (B list) and Ramsay died this season as far as big names and I suppose Jon last season. I think another shock death kinda has to happen so that the pieces are moved to the final places. I veer towards it being a Stark and it being one of the people with the most plot armour.
For some reason I can't but imagine Cersei being a player until S8. I don't see the whole thing being so Whitewalker heavy as they have to balance it out with some kind of mess down south.
I think there will be a big loss and a big triumph next season. So we lose a big villain (LF likely but maybe Cersei) and one of the heroes (I kinda see Bran going cause wth is he going to do besides give us flashbacks).

Lmao Bran aint dying in s7, they need that dude and please don't discount the flashbacks. They will be of huge importance

Bran is the three eyed raven and a powerful warg. He will probably be the one to defeat the Night King in the end or help Jon to do it.

I'm kinda mad Tommen died because of his stupid mother. Margarey deserved better. I really hope the Mad Queen gets what she deserves next season.

Game of Thrones is a bittersweet tale but it cannot be all gloom. For me, GoT has essentially become a symbol of how actions have consequences. Every choice has a consequence. Rhaegar making off with Lyanna. Robert's Rebellion. Lysa poisoining Jon Arryn. Cersei going all Guy Fawkes. Mel's burning of Shireen. Arya joining the cult. All these actions, choices have massive consequences and that for me is what the essence of the entire book is about (like those old fables ya da and ma used to tell you that would have a moral at the end of it).
Its why I cannot see any of the remaining Stark kiddies meeting their maker because there needs to be some physical or mental representation of what the War has meant for them; for Cersei, Jaime, Jon, the other Houses etc. The Stark kids have lost their Dad, their Mum, their two Brothers, their (probably) Uncle, their "Home". I just cannot believe D&D will continue to descetrate this house; remember they are a GREAT House like actual importance in Westeros. Its far more interesting to have them alive but identify just how their fortunes have changed from Book 1/S1e1 to DoS/S8e6.
Like Sansa dreamt of being a "Queen", a Woman of high importance and she has achieved that, partly, but she had to suffer for it. Arya wanted to become a fighter and she did, but again she suffered for it. Bran wanted to....yeah i don't care for that rat but the point still stands. They've suffered enough.

What did Bran ever do to make you hate him? He's a kid
But I agree with everything you're saying. I don't think any of the Starks will die, except Jon. I still think Jon will die. Only because I don't see him coming out of the final battle alive. He's always at the front of the line, there's no way he's not going down.
Anyway, Jon's goal has always been something different from the other Starks, all he wants is to know who his parents are and where he belongs. Once he finds out, he'll accept his place in the world and behave like a proper ruler. And he'll die protecting his people.

She isn't useless at all. But yeah, i agree on that front and that makes perfect sense. Of all the Starks, she's gone through the most **** and if anyone should take on the revenge storyline it's her. I wished they had introduced LSH sooner but alas, it's just not meant to be.
I'm just excited for when we finally meet Nymeria again w/ her wolfpack

Probably not, but at least she beat Dany to that Iron throne she might never sit on

Sis I really don't think we'll be seeing Nymeria again. They seem to just cost too much

I need Littlefinger to suffer the most gruesome death. Most disgusting character of the entire series.

He just annoys me. I think its his hair. Plus the fact he couldn't listen to ****ing instructions which is why this whole pavala started in the first place. Bastard.
It's possible. Definitely. But Jon is more of a ruler, protector of people than Dany ever is. And Dany just wants to get home, which she will. And conquer but in the end, that's too...easy for her to do. So I see her dying really. And Jon becoming King of the Iron Throne which is admittedly something he never wanted in the first place but circumstances has led to that happening.
Which is sort of a recurring motif in ASOI&F. Characters having to do things they wouldn't NORMALLY want to do but they have to literally to appease the majority or to simply survive. Cersei & the Guy Fawkes Display. Sansa marrying Tyrion/Ramsay. Theon sacking Winterfell. etc.
