When I was so busy I couldn't post, I lurked and saw some of you guys discussing the sense of Pretty When You Cry.

I interpret it as Lana saying her lover doesn't come back after he's left her because he can't stand watching her cry (because she's pretty when she does) and fears he might get weak and go back to her, even if he doesn't want to.

Just wanted to share my thoughts

This album has slayed me so many times, I've missed all the release mess that happened in this thread
My iTunes count for the album is 130 I can't pick my favorite, they're all amazing! Plus I love how songs go well in pairs of two.

My favorite songs are def Cruel World, Shades of Cool, West Coast, Brooklyn Baby and Ultraviolence. I love this album, but I think BTD will forever be my fave album. With Ultra, I feel like the album becomes forgettable after Sad Girl.... Fab album and one of the year's best, tho!
