Valley of the Dolls is about a void she has had since the beginning. In BB, she fell for a boy, who broke her heart and in turn, created a void that love or fame can't fill.
Songs:
1st Verse
Chorus
2nd Verse
Chorus
The third section is called the middle-8. There are bridge or a breakdown or sometimes both. Breakdown's are normally instrumental / pure music and no lyrics. The bridge acts as a third verse, linking the 2nd chorus with the final verse.
Judas by Lady Gaga has a breakdown which repeats twice and then repeats another 2 times but with lyrics:
"In the most biblical sense/I am beyond repentance/fame hooker....."
It then has a bridge, which goes:
"I wanna love you / but something's pulling me away from you"
Sometimes a song has a pre-chorus:
In Bad Romance:
"You know that I want you / and you know that I need you / I want a bad, bad romance"
Sometimes a song has a post-chorus:
In Telephone:
"Can call all you want / but there's no one home / and you're gonna reach my telephone..."
