In this industry, you gotta care about sales though? Like who didn't think Selena would get dropped after her first week sales? It's a competitive industry and labels invest in artists to make as much money as possible. Not out of the goodness of their hearts. Its a BUSINESS. This isn't the special olympics, not everyone gets to be a winner.

Yeah, I agree. But success ain't my first worries. I mainly care about the MUSIC then I care about success. As you said, they both have pretty important roles in the industry.

AYWR had no radio hit and sold faster than of Selena's albums.
Just because you stan for someone, doesnt mean others HAVE to.
And the whole promo thing doesn't work with tween artists.
I doubt there are many tweens/teens out there that don't know Sel and Demi have an album out.
Maybe they're just not interested enough to care.
And no rehab didn't alienate anybody because her first two albums didn't do that great either.

Like, are they going to promote her album a lot more now that she is successful on the radio and outside the US?

And also I wonder who she's going to work with too. I would love for her to work with Dr. Luke - but now that he's with another label and unable to work with other artists. I don't see that happening. She even said in an interview she wanted to work with him too!

I want her next album era to be perfect. No more messy release dates and at least 4 singles.
I don't want them waiting forever to send a single for adds and I don't want them to release a song's music video months before it's sent for adds.
