Paparazzi was a true radio hit, while BTW was an anomaly (let's not even talk about it's atrocious callout scores and quick decline) - but still, you're right. It seems like the only way Gaga could ever get a #1 on radio again, or even on pop, is if she rises or stays steady while everything around her begins declining. It has to be literally PERFECT timing.

We should just be happy radio is still supporting her at all. But the fact that not a single radio station has put DWUW on PR is sad. I guess there's just too many smash hits to spin right now.

I think people are just noticing that all of the radio support doesn't seem to be selling the song much.
