T.I. has HUGE support on Urban, Rhymthic, and now steadily rising up on mainstream. This ALWAYS happens. A rapper/hip-hop artist prevents a pop artist from reaching #1 due to the fact that they have the opportunity to be on more formats, where as a pop artist really only has one format, that is POP.

Hip-hop artists have too much of an advantage I think since the other formats they're on are just about 2/3-3/4 of the total aud. for #1 each compared to pop.

Compare that to the AC and Rock which are significantly less.

Popularity on iTunes = How much it is being downloaded at that point of time. But yes, iTunes is not the only retailer, and this cannot tell much!

I know what it means. But it doesn't mean the longer the line the higher the sales. It could be a low sales week, and the #1 could be selling 1,000 copies, and #2 could be 400 copies, and so obviously the line would be longer.
