In terms of ATRL. Here, there's only pop. In my honest opinion, the only thing that stands up to K-Pop in the hierarchy is Britpop.
Tha trinity: K-Pop, Britpop, J-Pop.

The British indie/pop is just LIFE But I have to say that my favorite pop atm is K-Pop. You just never know what to expect and the whole scene is interesting and fresh. It has a special charm that just gets you hooked
American Pop is the worst though.
