If Ke$ha was allowed to perform "Blah Blah Blah" and Flo-Rida with "Right Round" at AI.. Then, I see no problem why Rihanna cannot perform "Rude Boy" at the KCA.

For instance, 2009 KCA had 7.7 million viewers and the show was broadcast in more than 228 million households across Nickelodeon's 50 channels in Europe, Russia, the Middle East, Asia, Australia and Latin America.

Because American Idol is aired on network television and its biggest fanbase is over 40 years old. Even then, the lyrics for BBB were drastically changed.

Nickelodeon is a kids channel on cable whose biggest fanbase is younger than 14. But, if Nickelodeon says its okay... then I guess it's fine. Now if it were airing on The N, then I wouldn't see any problem, but, seriously, I'm not too sure what the parental reaction is going to be like.

Yes, it is. The largest demo for AI is (predominantly white and female) people in between 35 and 50.

She does say 'd*ck' or 'f*ck' or 'l*ck' or anything a kid cannot hear. She may sing about going dirty with a boy. But if a kid understands the meaning of te song then it wont be offensive for him/her, and If they dont get the song then thre's nothing wrong there.

I think that they will make her edit the lyrics HEAVILY if that is what she's going to sing. I can hear it now.
