I think the reason why her entire discography isn't written by her is because she was insecure of herself as a writer and artist in general. She radiates this confidence now and in every interview she firmly states that she's finally making a statement with her music and I genuinely feel that so I'm not only beyond excited for this album but for her future ones.
Revival feels like it could be huge and even if it isn't I'm confident she'll at least be giving us her best work.
Yes same and I do believe she wasn't really into Music at all and wanted to make bops so she didn't try to evolve and all and even said SD would be her last album.
But I think she loves it now and is getting vocal training to improve. Writing songs and I keep on hoping she improves in each and every project she does ans gets all the success she deserves.

I really like the Revival snippet. It sounds so much better than Same Old Love. Same Old Love got so boring and dry fast for me, it doesn't sound like a Selena song.
I mean, just from this snippet i can already say it is my favorite song from her :.jonny: intro, music, vocals, LYRICS, the way it describes where she is now, it is all just amazing
But yassssssssssssssss. The Max Martin song is a bop too, hopefully.
