I haven't said that once and if you understood my argument you would know this. As I've said before, there's a difference between what her intentions were and how it's being perceived by the public. Lady Gaga would never promote or glorify rape. She's a good person and aims to have a positive effect on the world in everything that she does. Furthermore, no straight guy is dumb enough to watch a Lady Gaga video and think "oh that looks awesome" or "wow I want to rape a girl!"
My entire argument has been based in the fact that it will be a trauma-trigger for rape victims and bring back painful memories. Taking the celebrity cliche of "if I can help just one person then I've done my job" and turning it around into "if I can hurt just one person" then she's achieved that, because at least one of those people this will hurt happens to be my best friend. And when people keep laughing about that because they think this is some stan argument, you're damn right I'm going to get angry and repeat my opinionto everyone who doesn't seem to understand it, like yourself. This is not some petty stan war. This is so much bigger than that. There are girls around the world who this video is going to hurt if they see it, and while you're screaming "yassss" and turning scenes into avatars, they'll be replaying their rapes in their heads and crying.

I understand what you're saying, I still think you are being a little bit too overdramatic about it. Have you spoken to your friend about it? is he/she offended? did it bring up those memories by watching this video? I don't know, it just seems like a bad ****o video to me. Keep in mind we've seen 30~ish seconds, and TMZ could have cut parts together to make it look worse than it actually is.
