In some ways, I do want Obama to win, just so he could screw up this country with his inexpierience. But then again, if he does something wrong, we all know his loyal followers will still think he is the second coming of Jesus, like they do now.
And please answer ne this: Eevryone is commenting on how expensive Palins clothes are, why isn't anyone talking about Michelle Obama? Everyone is saying how expensive it is for Palin to take her kids with her? Why doesn't anyone talk about Obamas kids?
Michelle Obama's clothes are in the price ranges of $150 - $200
Cindy McCain's clothes have gone as high as $300,000 for an outfit she wore at the RNC.
Obama's children have yet to get pregnant, and they are rarely *****d about like the Palin Family for photo ops. Also, Obama has not used our tax money to fly his children around to places they weren't invited.
So the only way they can talk about any of these things you ask of is if they fabricate it. Your best bet for that would be tuning into Fox News.
you know why i want you guys to vote for mcCain....because mcCain knows what it's like to lose, and i don't want him to suffer through that again...
Also he's a maverick but we've all wanted a woman in the office, and sarah palin is a good catch....also his view on economy will be better for america because first housing will be cheap for all of america....
If u please have some sense in you, you should know which candidate is better..
And plus, i am half african and half american...but ma citizenship is here in america although even if i went back to africa i would gain citizenship by birth......
(CNN) -- Federal prosecutors in Tennessee have charged two men with plotting a "killing spree" against African-Americans that would have been capped with an attempt to kill Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama.
The U.S. attorney's office in Jackson, Tennessee, said Daniel Cowart, 20, and Paul Schlesselman, 18, were self-described white supremacists who met online through a mutual friend.
Both men have been charged with illegal possession of a sawed-off shotgun, conspiracy to rob a federally licensed gun dealer and making threats against a presidential candidate.
Cowart and Schlesselman were arrested after an aborted robbery attempt last week, prosecutors said in a statement announcing the charges.
They made their initial appearances before a federal judge Monday and are scheduled for a bond hearing Thursday in Memphis.

This has zero to do with the longest election in the history of voting - with an extended delay due to machines changing votes and running out of paper ballots and Sarah Palin announcing her intent to run as a Chirstian Republican on November 5 against Mike Huckabee and Mitt Romney running for the Business Republican nomination three days later which will begin the long slow death march to the end of time and the 2012 elections - but I must ask this:

OK, call me stupid, but HOW exactly does returning to "Africa" make you a citizen? I assume if you were born in South Africa, that returning to Algeria or Sudan or Congo-Kinshasa or Mozambique or the Seychelles would not grant you South African citizenship.
Please answer, for I am confused.
In regards to election: I want this damn thing over with although the long lines for early voting does my heart good. I plan on waiting until Election Day cuz I'm not doing absentee and I want to see how El Paso County (of Colorado, the homeland of Travis and Jeremy) tries to royally **** over Democrats when even the bastion of Evangelical Republicans is giving more to Obama over McCain.
And yeah, no hate to McCain. Lots of hate to McCain's ****ed up staff and to some extent McCain for thinking the Bush2000 model was a roadmap to success, but no hate to John personally. Sarah, however, is a whole hateable kettle of fish.
If Obama wins, I sure hope he proves me wrong and turns this country around. But as of right now I'm not confident in his abilities to run our country effectively. He knows all the right things to say but has little to no foundation to back him up. I'm not entirely opposed to Barack as our President, but a lot of naive people, and especially a lot of the naive young people here on ATRL fall for the idealism without thinking of what it would cost us.
John McCain and Sarah Palin have their drawbacks, but they've at least got a grasp of the horizon and know where to direct our country. Barack's tax plan is going to hurt the job market. And the war is a conflict of interest for John and Sarah because he was a POW and she has her firstborn son serving in the military--OF COURSE they want to get us out of war, but they want us to win it first. The motives behind war were different for Bush and Cheney because the personal stakes weren't as high, but McCain has our best interest at heart and that is what I truly believe. It's a telling indication when Hillary, Bill, Joe Biden, and a number of other Democrats have praised John McCain in recent history. I'm not saying Obama supporters are wrong to support him, but their condemnations of McCain are petty and misinformed.
There is nothing to win. Iraq wants us out by 2011, and even the White House is starting talks of a timeline. But of course, the only odd man out here is John McCain because to agree to this would be to say "Obama was right" on the only issue he was strong in this year.
This war has crippled us at home, and I hope the next President isn't as careless as his predecessor.
I wasn't referring to Iraq per se, but I was referring to Afghanistan and now Syria and making sure that our standing in those countries is stable before we pull out our troops. Even Barack discussed deploying troops in Afghanistan during the final debate in order for us to find and capture Osama Bin Laden. War is a necessary evil unfortunately, however the motives behind the Iraq war were obviously tied to Cheney's financial stakes in Haliburton. With McCain and Palin though, I think there would be a more genuine concern for the welfare of our military and our reputation abroad as opposed to the oil.

Osama is relaxing on a beach somewhere laughing at all of us for not finding him.
Anyway at least you have a reason to vote for McCain unlike the other people who say they are.
I had a feeling the last effort by the McCain campaign would involve a video tape. Not nearly what I expected, but I suppose that's a good thing.
So McCain now wants you to believe that an article involving a videotape of Obama at an event with a "radical professor" is soooo important and must be released immediately, he sat on it since April as an emergency strategy. Not to mention that McCain himself has ties to the same "radical professor" in question, but apparently he's wiling to take a blow if it would hurt Obama more.
From CNN:

Asked why the McCain campaign was bringing the matter up six months after the article appeared, an aide replied, "Because we are one week away from potentially electing Barack Obama."
