Hey guys, what's up? I know right now is not the best time to stan for Gaga but hang in there y'all. I have yet to hear ARTPOP so I can't form any judgements but I'd like to say it's normal for artists to see commercial failure and it doesn't mean it's the end of the world. Hopefully Gaga learns something from this and betters her approach in the future. Seeing commercial (and critical) failure is not uncommon nor is it an ending of a career, it is rather a testament of the artist. What's most important is how she rebounds from this and how she takes all this in. Some of the world's biggest stars have seen HUGE commercial failures (Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey, Madonna, Prince, Cher, etc) but they were all able to comeback in a big way one way or another. I believe in Gaga and her reign to think it was just a fad.
I'll listen to ARTPOP and tell you guys what I think. Hang in there. Your fave artist flopping makes you feel more connected to them.
Don't jump ship because of commercial setback, that's annoying.
