Oh yeah. I would like Rihanna to have her first retired video. That would be cool! Pon de Replay would've retired, though, if it wasn't for TRL.

Great Video For An Awesome Song, But I'd Rather See "Remember The name" Or "Believe Me" On That List, As They're The Best Songs On "The Rising Tied"

As for Kelly: Walk Away wasn't a flop, it was a hit. (Both on the Billboard 100 chart @ #12 and TRL/Vh1 top 20 @ #1) It's pointless to argue that. I say keep going and release another single and video. Besides, a lot of her fans have been screaming on other message boards to release Addicted anyways. Make them happy and do it; fOuk the putzey haters. (It's not as if a lot of them bought/downloaded "Breakaway" anyways, why should they be considered for an opinion about her?) And Having 6 singles is too much? Pssht, not in Kelly's case. If you don't like her, just switch the channel. Kelly is not holding a gun up to your head forcing you to hear and watch her. As for kicking ass'ey on TRL, just get off your's, vote for your favorite, rally up support, and you just might have chance. If you choose not to vote, and you complain non stop about her being #1, your a dumb@ss. ~ Even if these quarter baked accusations of TRL being rigged are true. (This sentiment applys to all the other videos as well including *Takes a heavy breath trying not to puke* Aly, AJ, and Paris Hilton.) ~ And if you didn't like/were pissed off by what I just said...well...too dam hilarious for me, and more agony for you. Up (and down) yours! 
But I do sense that Clarkson might take a similar route to that of Alanis Morisette in terms of commercial success/fandom as Shade was mentioning. Alanis came in with a huge CD (Jagged Little Pill) which had large amounts of success as Breakaway, but come next CD; Alanis' sales were a fraction to her prior Mega-hit alblum. (But the next CD was still Multi platinum) But KC continues to be a great success and maintain her fanbase to some degree, great for her. ~ And yes, I do know that was sort of off topis, but I could care less right at the moment. |
It would have been nice if TI had retired but hey what can you do.

I like all the retire videos except Kelly Clarkson's videos. I used to like her, since A Moment Like These to Behind These Hazel Eyes... simply I don't like Because Of You & Walk Away.

Unfaithful was OK, but it got annoying on me after awaile. It was #1-worthy, but not for as many days it racked up.
Now if T.i and/or Nelly could return till they retire, we might see a video retire next month...but being realistic...I don't see that happening anymore. 
If only they lowered the retirement day number from 50 to 40...
