The higher IV score a Pokemon has, the stronger it will be when reach Max level, no matter how high or low the current CP is. IV can't change, CP can change through Power Up so it's better to keep and evolve, power up the mons with higher IV score.

Oh at the end you should power up the pokemons with the higher HP, right?

If those of you still looking for an alternative to PokeAdvisor when it comes to checking IVs, here is one that you run from your desktop (PC and Mac):

Obviously not as nice of an interface as PokeAdvisor but it still does what you need it to do. I've been using it for the past three days without any real issues. There does seem to be a bug where sometimes the application does not open after you log in but just close it out and re-login and it should work.

I've hatched five 10km eggs over the past three days. The first four were all ****** ass Eevee's. Eevee is, perhaps, the fourth or fifth most common Pokemon in my town. I have hundreds of candies of it. I was so livid I wanted to shatter my phone and stomp on it.

My fifth hatched last night and it was a 82.22% IV Scyther. After the Eevees, I'll take it. Still need a Lapras, though.

No, you're right. If you have two of the same types of Pokemon with the same IV values, you should then choose the one with the better move set over the other because (when fully-leveled up) it would be better than the other.

I have a 100% IV Rhydon with a perfect move set of Mud Slap/Stone Edge. I wish he wasn't so weak and Vaporeons weren't everywhere. All of the rock/ground Pokemon are useless. Onix needs a buff, too. Weak ass bitch isn't worthy of being in 10km eggs. They better be making Steelix a boss to make up for it.

I'll be so PISSED if we have to start over for gen 2, like you have to do in the games & ash generally did in the anime. Cuz the knowledge that gen 2 is looming is pretty much the only silver lining in all the onix/scyther/zubat eggs I hatch. Also, all the Poliwags and Horseas in my area. As far as new evolutions of gen 1 pokémon goes, I'm most awaiting queens Espeon, Umbreon & Blissey tho, and out of the new pokémon, Tyranitar line, Entei, Raikou, Suicune, Ho-oh, Lugia, Celebi >>>>> any other set of legendaries. I lowkey don't care to catch Mewtwo or the birds this gen other than maybe Zapdos, and that's in part due to the fact that there are no replacement electric types for it CP-wise, while I've got a great Lapras, Arcanine and Charizard

I hope they make future pseudo legendaries more elusive. It would suck to see kings like Tyranitar as such common gym fodder as Dragonite

Agree with this, BUT I think moveset is actually more important than IV. If you have a perfect moveset and say, 65% IV stats, that Pokemon is going to be better than another type with terrible moves and 90% IV. Some of the moves are drastically worse than others. Check here for the movesets and remember that a strong attack is going to help you in the gym more than having +5 ATK points or whatever.

I heard somewhere that it takes a Pokémon with 0% IV roughly 24% more time to defeat a Pokémon than a Pokémon with 100% IV, so all in all IVs really don't matter as much compared to movesets unless you have really awful IVs.

My top CP pokemon list needs some more green in it. Nearly all orange or blue, not v aesthetically pleasing. Exeggcute are so scarce. I never see any Bulbasaur. I want a Scyther, bad. I'll never get enough Bellsprout candy.

the 514 CP Squirtle I hatched last night (from a 2k egg!) is only 60% Is it a lost case? The highest IV I've ever seen was a 91% Ponyta and not even from an egg...

I just hatched a 10k egg, and it was a 95% IV Eevee, and it gave me a BUNCH of candies, so I was able to evolve that one, and another high IV one that I had.

I evolved them into Vaporeon and Jolteon, and they BOTH got the weakest power set moves. I literally SCREAMED.

Vaporeon got Water Pulse, and Jolteon got Discharge.
