In my attempt to make the Base a more positive place (SYG and most of the threads in that section make it look like it's heaven for catty users), I decided to create a thread where users have to say something nice about a random artist and if they don't follow that rule, they can expect a nice WP.

CHARM SCHOOL
SEASON 3, 4, 5 THREAD
Now at first glance, you may look and ask yourself, "What the....!" But if you listen to my reasoning you will get where I'm coming from.
Now, We are all in this game why? To better ourselves and become better ATRL posters. And to me, That is the most positive thing that could come to ATRL. But only, what if Charm School was here...oh say......permanently. Unlike this version, there will be no "seasons", there will be no "episodes" but more like a "sticky thread at the top of "The Lounge", where members, new and old, can hop in the thread and ask for guidance and how to become a better poster, and person overall. The person asking for guidance can then be paired up with someone who has little to no warning points, and someone who is respected. Within that pair, the mentor, will help guide that person down the right path, instead of down a disorderly, messy path. One of the things Charm School has taught me is to be myself and not let any of these flops influence me to do otherwise. And I feel as if a place where a lost soul can find themselves is something that would benefit the ATRL community. |
