I can understand the initial disappointment with this song. After so long we were expecting a song oozing with Gwen's quirkiness, ala "What You Waiting For". I'm sure there will be plenty of that on the album. "Spark The Fire" is proof.
"Baby Don't Lie" gets better with every listen and has everything it needs to be a hit for her. It's super catchy and sounds like an anthem. It even has the potential to be a club hit. I really hope we get a Major Lazer remix. I need to hear this in reggae form.
I'm very pleased with everything we've heard so far and i'm sure it will be one of the best pop albums of the year.
I thought it was going to reach the top 5
It would be lovely if it stabilized in the top 10.
