Yesterday, it was the biggest (or one of the biggest) line up of the most important/popular artists in the history of awards ceremonies (not just AMAs)!!!
They gave Rihanna a whole section in the middle of the show.

Irrelevant comedian presenting her, performing one year old song(not even her biggest hit in the States), not showing up on the red carpet, the tribute video was a mess... It felt like she was just there, regularly promoting her current single...

All I can say is AMAs wasn't supposed to be all about Rihanna all night. It is an award show and there are so many artists to be honored. It's just so happened that Rihanna had the biggest honor of the night, hence she had the longest exposure out of all the artists who both won and performed. She was given about ~20 minutes and that's enough. Also just to compare, when BB awarded Bey with Millenium Award, it wasn't all about her either.

Last night was a very important day on my navy life. I am so proud (it's like I cannot describe how proud I am). It feels like my older sister finally reached all her biggest dream knowing that she can outdo her achievements sooner or later. I was in awe and also in tears when Mama Fenty handed her the trophy plus Rih's speech made me appreciate her more. I mean she just said that she is as good as her team. She doesn't pretend to be the best of them all, she gives credit to everyone and that's what a great person is all about. She really makes me so proud to stan to her and like I've stated she has just started, there are so many more to come.

Let me break it, it was her best and most emotional Diamonds performance after her UK xFactor one. Plus I don't know why y'all expecting a big boost when she performed a year old song from a year old album while all the others performed brand new song. I'm glad the effect really is in the album. It is 116 now. Plus Diamonds jumped 400+ spots.

Plus, how can you not distinguish which is which when Miley Cyrus' red carpet outfit is a clear Rihcycle.

She was given no more than 11 minutes. At least Beyonce performed her current single and not SL for example. And Justin performed a 20 minutes medley on the VMAs(also big line up).

It's not that I'm not proud of her, the award, the speech, it's just that she didn't use the momentum right(like most of the time).
