I saw Miley the other day on the Bangerz Tour. She was amazing. Her "I'll Take Care Of You" cover slayed my life. She got amazing reviews. I think the show was sold out (at least that's what the media said)

On younger artists who've caught his eye... "Actually, you know what, I really like that song by Miley Cyrus, too. 'Wrecking Ball.' I love that song. It's amazing. I wish I'd written that song. I just thought it was a good chorus. She's hot too, man. She's so hot. Give me a break. For an old soldier like me. It's pretty amazing. [Geezer voice] 'Wouldn't have done that in my day, let me tell you."

Miley getting lauded (in more ways than one) by legendary Grammy winning Canadian singer-songwriter Bryan Adams.

No shade, but My Everything (But A Gold Certification) isn't touching Bangerz is numbers. I believe Bangerz had already sold 800k after 5 weeks while My Everything is only at 570k. Sorry, but Hairymana's album sales are pits and you people know that dam well. No amount of local single success is going to change that. Bangerz kind of underperformed but My Everything is FLOPPING big time and she got more singles and better promo than almost every main pop girl. I mean the only Miley album she will manage to outsell is CBT and even that will take a while.
Problem is the only real hit off her sh!tty album, Break Free is a cute local hit but it's made like 0 impact and it's not even close to hitting the 2 million mark despite being out for like three months already. It just passed Adore You in sales last month. ATRL really needs to stop overrating that local, annoying, rat faced ugly anorexic bitch, especially us Miley stans. Like we're always dragging Demi and Selena for pulling mediocre numbers but Hairymana is barely outdoing them. Let's not be hypocrites now. I'd put her in the same category as Pitbull or Flo-rida but she can't even sell singles that well. She's quite useless when you think about it and the collab would have as much impact as Chasing The Sun.
Just be happy that Miley managed to go Platinum and stop downplaying her success to defend that ugly rat who is struggling to go even Gold. Rant over.

now that the bangerz era is basically over,i think its time RCA release "Bangerz:The Remixes: featuring remixes of WCS,WB,AY,23,Feeling Myself,Real & True,Fall Down,Ashtrays & Come Get It Bae
and maybe they could release that bangerz acoustic thing but just put the unplugged official audios and maybe those sound cloud covers "Bangerz:Unplugged & Acoustic" with a whole hippie album cover
but we know it won't happen

I don't think Mike Willy is topping his work on Bangerz with M5, but you didn't hear that from me

I agree. She needs to dump him on the side of the road like she did with that homeless guy after the VMAs. Then she can call up DJ Mustard and replace ha like the rest of the world did.

Her ballads, including the sublime Wrecking Ball and Adore You, showcase a voice that puts her fellow pop starlets to shame, and a covers section is both inspired and insipid.
Unlike some of her contemporaries who would go on to suffer meltdowns post-Disney, Miley's madness appears to be of the more measured variety. At the start of the show she made a blustery reference to being "so ****ing high", but the quality of her singing suggested otherwise.
"Don't you worry, I'mma be okay," she sings on Do My Thang. Watching her ecstatically fly through the air on a giant inflatable hotdog, it's hard not to believe her.

4/5 stars from the Sydney Morning Herald.
I especially liked this tidbit:

But it's a show that's overwhelmingly lewd rather than lascivious (even in her most revealing outfits she is closer to child gymnast than sex kitten), and when she grabs her crotch and thrusts it's not so much a come hither as an up yours, her metaphorical middle finger pointed firmly at authority.

Oceania in general is kinda stanning a bit.

Whether you like her or not, it's undeniable Miley's got talent – her vocals were incredible, despite the star admitting she got "pretty f**ked up" before the show.
As we left, I looked around to see fans beaming, still not able to believe Miley had come to Auckland. They could be heard singing the star's lyrics down the street, as they recounted a performance they'll most likely never forget.
Miley promised a great Auckland show and, despite a few niggles with the sound and set, she certainly didn't disappoint her 'Smilers'.

But just when you think there's nothing more to this cheap, vulgar, sleazefest, the show turns a corner. Miley either sobers up (she claims to have got "really f***ed up before the show") or wakes up, but suddenly she's singing with the intensity and conviction of someone who gives a damn. Someone who can sing. The back-up dancers have disappeared and it's just Miley and her band.
She comes alive with a theatrical country performance of Johnny Cash's A Boy Named Sue. She belts out I'll Take Care of You.

Legend M definitely needs to make her vocals her main focus next era and serve on M5 and in her live performances. She has it in her to really -- like really -- prove people wrong who think she's a talentless hack that's only good for gimmicks.. because trust me there are still a lot of doubters out there despite her proving she actually does have a set of pipes
Come through for me legend

I think for Miley to prove herself as a vocalist, the theatrics still need to be there. I think the closest thing she's ever gotten was the 2013 AMA performance, even though it wasn't anywhere near her best vocal performance (or even her best Wrecking Ball performance) the combination of the diamond crying cat along with her voice pulled people in. I remember a review naming her the best vocal performance of the night, as if Ariana wasn't even there.
I'm not sure if what I'm even saying is making that much sense - essentially I feel like if Miley were to do a Lilac Wine-esque performance (stripped down, no antics, A+ vocal, etc.) at say, the Grammys, it would garner some quick praise and that's about it. Not because she isn't a great vocalist, but because the public is too fickle and easily distracted to actually sit there and enjoy a vocal performance by some female pop tart. They would still need an extra kick to really be excited about it.
That's why I was so adamant on her performing Adore You at the Grammys last year in a combustible wedding dress. (Then Shakira stole that idea, but that's none of my business.)

It makes perfect sense, the GP is extremely fickle and her just sitting there giving A+ vocals isn't going to cut it. There needs to be theatrics. I agree about her performance last year too
.. it was alright, but it was far from spectacular. I do feel like for some reason her voice is stronger this year
