I volunteer for a thing but I haven't done competitive in about 7 years so I'd have to be reminded what moves and things are banned

So looking at the actual map of Hawaii, it seems that the furthest Island to the right appears based of Hawaii (the island). The island on the far right looks like it's based on Kaho'olawe, an island that has no residents but is still part of the 8 islands. The island next to Hawaii looks like it's based on Maui, with the one that appears to be the starting town being based on Lana'i.

Most of the gen 6 last stages were a disappointment, imo.

The starting island is based on the island Oahu.
It has roughly the same shape + the Diamond head vulcano, pearl habo
The island left to it (with the legendary Pokemon) should be Kauai.

If it was based on Oahu there's no way they would snub the city of Honolulu like that, making it into one street basically

It makes more sense for it to be Lana'i considering its a small populated island, with a volcano also to the east of the city, similar to the map.
