Yes, shes been working on it since mid January. We're expecting a Q4 release.

Expect a single from her upcoming album in late summer which would put her on track for a Q4 release.
Also Carrie & Miranda have a duet coming out this spring on Miranda's new album which will be a single and the song is called "Something Bad" & her album is coming out this summer.
Pretty much it's going to be a snowball effect from summer to Carries release.
Country music star Carrie Underwood, who performed at Stadium of Fire in 2010, again will be headlining this year’s festivities on July 4 at LaVell Edwards Stadium.
For the Stadium of Fire organizers, Tuesday’s announcement was pretty unprecedented. Since the event started in 1980, only two acts — The Beach Boys and The Osmonds — have made repeat performances. The Osmonds performed each year from 1980-83, and The Beach Boys had 20 years between appearances.
“To have someone like Carrie come back, after it’s only been four years, is pretty unusual for us,” said Paul Warner, the Freedom Festival’s executive director. “But she did such a good show and people really appreciated her music, so we thought, ‘Let’s go for it.’ And because she had a good experience, and her management team did too, they were very open when we approached them about returning to Provo.”
Each year after the Stadium of Fire, Freedom Festival organizers mail surveys to those who attended. One of the questions asks patrons who they’d like to see perform the following year. Warner said the demand for Underwood has been overwhelming.
“I don’t think this is the kind of thing we’d want to do regularly unless it’s somebody that really has the high popularity that Carrie does,” Warner told the Daily Herald. “I don’t think it’ll be a pattern.”
Typically, Stadium of Fire has more than two performers, and other performers are often announced as the Freedom Festival nears. A Stadium of Fire producer confirmed that Underwood will play a longer set than previous headliners, according to event publicist Emory Cook.
