Y'all can seethe what you want. This poor woman wrote this all by herself, about a personal story and some real facts, serving emotion left and right and serving some one of a kind vocals. You can seethe all you want. Congrats Jamala!
Beautifully unique song with a superb, hair-raising vocal performance winning is GREAT. This is the kind of win that elevates Eurovision, the same way Loreen did.
Also really happy Lithuania did so well with 9th place finish, the director messed up with filming his jump though.
Spain deserved more. Armenia was awful, way too high. Malta scoring so well was a good surprise.
I said if the televoting winner was not the winner it would look awkward, and boy did it. Especially it being Ukraine vs. Russia was just on whole another level awkward.
Second year in a row the European people's choice came 3rd. Juries must go, especially after seeing them jizz their pants over Australia and Malta. Though I am glad at least Czech Republic did not end last. If it wasn't for Australia and Björkman's effect, I'm sure the jury would approve her more.
Finally I am so thankful to Jamala, she prevented that abomination of a song from Australia from winning. Even Szpak got more televote points than Dami and it was hilarious to watch.
PS: Bookmark me, we are coming back next year with a Turkish song.
Lazarev is like the least discreet gay celeb in Russia He runs in the NYC and Miami gay Russian social circles when he visits America. Kinda wish he won, but Jamala is still amazing.
