If you wanna compare ARTPOP to BTW, then why not compare the ammount of promo both had. ARTPOP 's promo in Europe and Australia was non existent,incl Applause. Let's not.

The music wasn't that great for you and tons of others( or its underperfromance had something to do with it??) but it was just as good or better for the rest. For me, it was clearly and obviously better.

Applause had the KIA commercial who is one of the best way to promote songs who you can
see through examples have done amazing for difference songs like Sexy And I Know It. DWUW
also had Beats commercial who went WW and helped the song have longevity in my countries.
The promo was there but the buyers didn't like the product. Just Dance and Poker Face had non
promo at the start but people loved the music so they bought it. The music was not that good sis.
