I loved Amy's performance in American Hustle and Amy is cute. If it wasn't for Cate, she would be my pick to win Best Actress at the Oscars but alas, something is blocking her way. Really though, I wish more people would be talking about Amy's performance because she was serving in the movie, I have never been more compelled by one of her performances more than I was when she was playing Sydney.

I semi get this...like, in many cases, there's in an incentive behind the murder....I wouldn't use the term 'justifiable' though. I can't think of many things that seriously warrant the taking of another's life.

No, but I do think there's a lot of "Oh, well he's talented. Let forgive him for that!!" in the industry.

That's how I feel about Chris and his short-lived comeback. It would have been better had he just completely faded because after all that propaganda, he kept proving the naysayers right. Now he has trouble releasing an album, he's been in and out of rehab and he is nearly irrelevant.

If you rape someone or get registered as a sex offender irl (aka outside of Hollywood), your life is going to be 100 times more difficult. Why should they get a pass just because they happen to be good directors/actors/musicians?

I was baffled at how people thought J.Law's imitation Mona Lisa Vito performance was the standout. Amy RAN the first half of the movie. She'd probably be far more popular if she didn't have such a wallflower personality.
