You could party and have a musical theater going on too in front of your eyes. With the born this way ball it was bigger the production yes more edgy and she was more free than ever on stage but she wasnt there 100% i mean her dancing skills over there was like &%&(^^%$ but the theatrics during the show were so good that made that show perfect. Now eith the ArtRave the stage is beautiful but there are not really any theatrics during the show, the lighting for first time is perfection but nothing change on stage there's not really a story going on it's just a pop show or better a rave a party so you have your time of your life but quality wise it's not better than mball or btwball.

But that's the reason this show is better. TMB was really good, but it was only because she was at the top of her game and you got to watch her for the first time. The BTWB was good, but you left thinking to yourself "what was she trying to say" because the storyline was so convoluted. The artRAVE was a combination of all of the best aspects of her tours. It was nothing but utter fun. You don't need theatrics for things to be good.

You obviously haven't been to the show.
The stage is literally the best staging she's ever done. It's unique, it's different, and it's Gaga doing something innovative for once. All the MB stage was a catwalk and some metal boxes. BTWB's stage was amazing on every level, but the castle served as a giant black hole that barely let any of the lighting to shine. The artRAVE is crisp and clear and the production doesn't get lost in any way.
You don't have to be shocking to be good. Nothing about any of her tours was shocking because that's not the point. This is a tour, not a shock festival.
And stop acting like all of her tours didn't have ****** costumes, because they did.
A few examples:
