I just don't have time anymore, honestly. I transferred to a new college this fall and the workload is tougher, and I'm always doing something every day out of my room, so I rarely have time to be here, much less moderate. But I'm starting to realize how much I'm really going to miss this place looking through this thread, should I finally just up and leave for good one day. So much history, so many good memories.

Oh okay, well that makes sense. I know I've been super busy lately as well with going back to school for a 2nd undergrad degree. I post a lot while on the go nowadays from my iPhone, especially when I'm bored on my way to places.
Edit: Good luck with your studies as well, hopefully all your credits transferred. I know dealing with the Office of Undergraduate Admissions when it comes to transferred credits, tends to be a nightmare!!!!

I found this board sometime in the summer of 2002. I was a poster at SayHey, (formerly) the greatest Kylie board in all the land, and a poster named chilla there/allihc here posted a thread that detailed how Love at First Sight was doing at radio. Some poster said that it wouldn't rise above #11 on pop - I was so angry. (they were right!)
I started lurking then. I was intrigued at a board that was filled with kids my own age, who watched TRL like I did. I made my first post in May 2003 (?). i think it was in a soap thread that former ATRL moderator Danielle (she of the babymama drama) started. Then, I got a PM - from Ed. He said that he had seen me posting about soaps, and that I looked "cool." He and ina invited me into my first AIM chat - and my (online and somewhat sadly, real) life was never the same.
It's hard for me to put seven years as a poster into one brief synopsis. I've been here for a substantial amount of ATRL's existance, and I'd like to think I impacted a lot - I'm not egotistic enough to think I impacted everything; that's why there are nineteen people ahead of me.
But ...
I did come up with the name of "Popfusion." (If you ever find yourself in an argument with a humorless Southeast Asian, I'm to blame!)

and i have a reputation for not finishing (almost) anything ever.
That's just the tip of the iceberg. For the most part, I've really enjoyed my time here - I think I'm the first moderator to be unceremoniously dropped and then welcomed back. And, you new girls have me to thank for Random Thoughts! I've made so many pseudo-friends, real friends, and tons of enemies! (some still yet to come ...)
