It isn't the artists sis, they have no control over release dates
It's mostly Warner Bros that either scraps or delays albums (unless you get a US Hit or WW Smash)

The old album covers were just awful, lazy and half-assed. It's like she just stumbled out of bed in the morning and posed for the camera straight afterwards.

And to say that this campaign started in 2015 and yet the album release is still so far away. All because of a US hit (which I'm assuming could be the song with The Chainsmokers). You can have a successful hit and still flop with an album. Labels are just stuck in the past and it's exhausting.
