Someone tell me what happened? My twitter is freaking out but no one's saying exactly why. Why is Rylan ranting about Gary Barlow on twitter? what did he do?
So I watched this show for the first time today (Well, all the performances and judge's comments on Youtube).
I actually love all the judges. Nicole comes off so much better here than she did on US X Factor, Tulisa and Gary both impressed me by being knowledgable and fair and still having some good critiques. And Louis is just a hilarious mess, I love him.
As for the acts... meh. No one really stood out to me. I mean yeah, most of them are pretty talented, but I just didn't connect with their personalities/images/styles. Which is weird cuz I like A LOT of UK artists.
Rylan, Union J, Christopher, and Jade need to go ASAP. The others are all much better than them.

Gary acted like a brat. He should've seen what Nicole did - she supported her own act but she also supported Carolynne.

Frankie was flat out bad last year, like terrible vocals. Gary shouldn't even judge Rylan harshly.
Rylan is obviously weak vocally but he's in no way worse than Frankie.
The way Gary walked off stage shows how immature and disrespectful he is.

Who is doing the musical arrangements this year? Gary was absolutely right in saying James' track should have been harder. James is like Plan B with a touch of Ed Sheeran. He needs to work on his stage presence though. I can't believe he turned his back on the camera/audience.

Melanie did amazingly! She used the power and range in her voice correctly. The only thing that was wrong with her performance was the obvious 70's styling & set.
Yep. I didn't know she could sang tbh (I didn't see her audition). Her, Jahmene and ella for the final. Jahmene can make it as long as he doesn't oversing...it ain't pretty.
A Lucy win would be great for the X Factor because they could have her album out the week after the finale. Her original song was okay but I'm worried that she's one dimensional.
I wanted to like MK1's performance but I felt it was too busy and lacked structure. I couldn't really hear either of them. But like Nicole said they are very current and marketable.
Something about Christopher Maloney really irks me. He's just an average, boring karaoke singer.
Rylan brings the entertainment factor. The production for his performance slayed. he competition would be so much more boring without him. "You were fierce, you were living and you owned it honey".
Jade Ellis looked so much like Beyonce. I didn't like the song choice. It didn't show of her gorgeous tone.
It's a shame the gay member of Union J is the least attractive one. Their performance looked identical to any One Direction performance on the show with better vocals.

I still find Kye very average. I still find his voice is very bland. And I still don't understand the praise.
Gorgeous vocal from Ella. The only gripe I have is that the performance was too much of an old-fashioned classic talent show performance with a key change and big note at the end.
Jahmene has to learn when to pull out the tricks. Some of them are uncalled for.
