Award show and other promo stops are good, but they only last for a certain period. Having a hit song is the real promo. I remember with Irreplaceable, B'Day went to selling 100k per week. Hit songs sell your album for certain artists and Beyonce is one of them.

I'm one of the few ppl that love that RTW was the first single and don't regret it at all over releasing Countdown or EOT or whatever first. I wouldn't have it any other way. That song made a statement and still has legs and there's no gurantee that the other songs would've faired better. Now BTINH being the 2nd single (or the song EXISTING at all), that was a regretful mistake.

EOT would have never. It might have not been a huge hit (which I doubt), but the song wouldn't have received such a blacklash and radios wouldn't be so angry at Bey now.

l dont regret the decision neither.

Yep l agree about this because look how the fan favorite CD did,compared to LOT or even Party.BTINH was an obvious second single choice.l am just mad at how she knew LOT would get a perf at the VMA yet she waited a ****in decade between the radio add/video release and the VMA perf.

Isn't RTW and BTINH getting those updates because it's in Z100's best songs of 2011 and they are getting spins on the station? BTINH and RTW has been getting decent updates since last week...

Is it not because of the year end countdown with radios playing the main songs of 2011 again? BTINH was #86 on the Hot 100 year end chart + her biggest single from 4.
