Pluto's design is pretty distinctive from the rest of the Senshi. The most well-drawn imo. All Inner Senshi's eye design look the same/very similar.

Can't wait for Saturn's transformation scene

Ngl, I lowkey liked the (old) new look, too bad they didn't know jack **** about how to keep that style in motion.

The (new) new look is cute, they actually look younger and the style is a mix of the first anime and the (old) new look.
Can't wait to the see the trailer.

The new art tyle is very cute, they look 14/15 for the first time actually.
The only thing that bothers me is their mouths that look way to big and creepy and the shading. Like the first two ar had such nice shading, this one looks opaque and plastic
And the lack of consistency with Michirus' hair lenght on all artworks bothers me too

I'm so excited for the new season though, I'm counting the days for it to come back Next week they will have a special screening on some event in Japan, I hope someone record it

Am I the only who prefer SM Crystal to the first anime?

I've always loved the 1992 anime, but I kinda hate the repetitive pattern of the episodes : a random situation, a demon who appears, then SM who use the same attack for defeating it.

In SM Crystal every episode is different and the fight scenes are so EPIC I was so impressed by the rooftop one

However, the characters are more friendly in the 1992 anime. This is the only strong point for me. (Usagi is SO FUNNY in this version)

You are the first person I've seen who thinks this way. But I understand your reasoning. With the old anime, they had to produce around 50 episodes per year, so they put a lot of ''monster of the week'' episodes between the canon plot episodes because the manga version that it's based on didn't have enough material to translate into a 200 episodes long anime.

And it is more childish in a lot of ways.

But with Crystal, the girls' friendship etc is not fleshed out enough. That's why it lacks the impact the old anime had on many fans. The inner senshi are nothing more than soulless slaves of SM. Everything seems flat and the animation budget is too low to justify Crystal's other weaknesses.

But hopefully they have learned from their old mistakes and the new season will please more fans.
