I think I just sent it because I was kind of rushing to send something in and Cee Lo appeared early on my iTunes, and I knew he hadn't been used yet (and wouldn't be surprised if he hadn't in the first place) so I just went with him. I think I was also kind of blinded by the fact that I absolutely love that track to death, and the fact that he's really underrated so maybe people will like him. Unfortunately people are stuck in their same tastes, even though he's not even that soulful on this song or anything.

It immediately stood out to me because it is so different, and I know Cee-Lo's voice is polarizing to many but I personally love it because it is so rich and soulful.
But you are right, people tend to dislike what they are not used to and especially if you send in something that is as different as this, they will rarely appreciate it. It really is a shame.
I'm so leaving this round. But the upbeat song I sent in and the ballad I'll probably send in are two of my favorite non-singles atm so if I'm leaving at least I won't have any regrets.
