Well, releasing the single before the radio winter freeze (so before November) and missing holiday sales for the album would have made no sense. So new single in 2013 was expected. Is the Grammy date announced? She has dates in the first two weeks of February, but they are held in North America, so...

The holiday season is too busy this year. With Taylor, Christina, Rihanna, Bublè and I don't know who else she would risk to go unnoticed by US radio/public, especially with no possible promo, since she will be busy touring Latin America, Africa and Europe. They must have a killer plan for this release, she can't afford CHARTFLOPs.

Azealia and Gaga in 2013 is no issue! Especially with both being released sooner than later.
