I don't agree with you. The only reason she didn't do anything with the XFactor with her music, was mainly the first time, because she got HUGE backlash in the USA version when she did, the first season she wanted to play it safe and I bet her management wanted that aswell at that time.
During the 2nd season, I doubt it was her idea to do nothing with her music, since everything was ready at that point. Also it would have been logical if a conflict woudl already have started with Interscope around that time, since the era got pretty much cancelled after they put Boomerang out begin 2014, which release was also pretty chaotic.
We also have to understand that even though Nicole has made crap descisions careerwise, she also had a team behind her, aswell as friends/family etc. who influence and advice her. If interscope was really concerned about her (or atleast her money) and was even able to force her back to PCD, they easily could have played her back then to launch her music on the XFactor UK.
