Yes they did say there would be a video, but this is before the world knew for sure it was CB.

True.
I love Def Jam for cockblocking this whole mess. They're still a messy label but they finally did something right.

If they would have let her record a full solo version and release the album in February. This whole debacle wouldn't of had to happen. But at least they did this.

'And I never thought I'd do it, never thought I'd do it, never thought I'd do i-it, oh gosh,
what ever happened to me, ever happened to me, ever happened to me-e?
Why did I pull de trigga, pull de trigga, pull de trigga, BOOM!
and end a *****, end a ***** life so soon,
why did I pull de trigga, pull de trigga, pulled it on you,
somebody tell me what I'm gonna, what I'm gonna do, eh
Rum pum pum pum, rum pum pum pum, rum pum pum pum,
me say oh man down, oh me say,
rum pum pum pum, rum pum pum pum, rum pum pum pum,
and me went downtown,
Cause now I am a criminal, criminal, criminal,
All outta mercy, now I am a criminal, man down!
Tell the judge please give me minimal,
run outta town so dat tey can't see me now, see me now!'
This has to be one of the best songs Rihanna has ever recorded. Her accent is everything. Actually, the whole song is a masterpiece. So fresh, even though it's over a year old. No one else is attempting electro-reggae ballads. No one. Only the Carribean Queen.

And don't even get me started about the video.
It and the "S&M" video were the only videos post- Rated R that are on the same quality as the RR videos. My favourite part of the MD video is when Rihanna is on the raft with eyeliner running down her face, her hair long as ****, and the waterfall in the background, complete with the dark atmosphere. Perfection.

what you expect me to do if they playin' me like a fool?
I will lose my cool and reach for my firearm!
I didn't mean to lay him down, but it's too late to turn back now,
dunno what I was thinkin', now he's no longer livin',
and I'm 'bout to leave town, yeah'
Ugh, this song is just ****ing amazing.

It was impeccable compared to... this.
Loud > Talk That Talk.
I want this era to be over and done with and never, ever spoken of again.
EDIT: Except for WFL's non-consecutive eleven weeks atop the Hot 100.

I agree. I really, really wanted an EP, but when we got confirmation of an album, I admit that I was extremely excited and wanted the album.

TTT has so many fillers. It would've been better to use the best songs of TTT for an EP.
LoudR
1. We Found Love.
2. You Da One.
3. Watch 'n Learn.
4. Do Ya Thang.
5. Where Have You Been.
6. Birthday Cake (Full solo version).
7. Drunk On Love.
8. Farewel.
