Yeah the new forum was a letdown after all the hype + misleading previews. It was basically like any other updated forum.

Honestly, this version has more... unique identity to it. Sure the software/design is outdated, but design wise I can't think of another forum with a similar design.

True. All these ****** pop forums that have like 25 active members run on IPB or whatever and have really over complicated layouts kind of look like the new ATRL. I know of several forums that made switches from vBulletin to IPB and 50% of the time it killed the forum.

Yeah, there's something special about having this old ass forum theme

It would have been perfect if they have kept the theme/design but added all the new features. I guess it was too much work.

yep. they should just figure out how to sort out this one's server/522 issues and spruce it up a little bit and leave it at that.

Like, I love the ATRL layout, it feels more like an open website than an online close forum. For me, it's an issue of space. Which is weird since it's abstract. But the beta felt smaller. d
