Honestly, Nicki should have cut out "Sex In The Lounge".
Not only is it really a Bobby V ft. Nicki & Wayne song, but the album flows better from "Right By My Side" to "Starships".

i agree that its a bit awkward sitting there and not even really being a nicki track. that being said, I think the song is awesome I can see why she kept it. I have a new attraction to Bobby V's voice.
... I'm definitely not visiting the Nicki hate threads if she pulls 200K. They're probably having the best week ever with reviews + this. 200K is not even that bad, but I wanted more for Nicki. I don't care about sales, I still love the album, but she does so much, she deserves to have a big first week. She herself said she doesn't care about big first week sales though, so hopefully she won't be upset.

and i must say after seeing the sale predictions she might as well make this her longest era eve and release many singles and then after that im sure the album will be well past platinum. then for the next era, have it be full of substance and RnB and Substance / hardcore rap and some pop sounds ( unique nicki pop sound like SB GFLD)

DANCE pop. of course im not saying that pop will leave nicki's sound boi! lol just dance pop for sure imo but hey you could be right i noticed that you were dead on with this album when alot of people were doubting you! especially right after she said "all rap album" you were the only saying pop sounds and etc. so who knows you may be right

You know what, I created this thread and got into Nicki through her hip hop tracks, but I'm just going to be upfront with my position on all this:
I want Nicki to give the middle finger to "the ghetto", and just focus on her pop career. Her look, style and even the type of music she makes, it just doesn't work for hip-hop. She should be seen and marketed as a popstar that dabbles into hip-hop, NOT the other way round.
I'm a UK fan, and we're only here for Pop Nicki. I'm done with her trying to achieve a balance. It doesn't work, and she is clearly alienating hip-hop audiences. So ditch them.
Her own words - don't change who you are to fit in. Hip-hop will never accept her. Pop does, has and always will.

Do you not see the massive flaw in your logic? Her dance-pop singles are her most successful songs. Not just in America, but around the World. She is not going to stop doing dance-pop songs.
