Wait!! Martyrs us was actually really good!! I really like the little
Changes they made and it wasn't as gory as the original was definitely more tolerable(gory wise). It wasn't bad like the reviews said I think most people judge it based on the original and how different it was when this was one obviously Americanized but I liked the fact they did more to incorporate their story as well rather than just the torturing.
I really recommend it just keep an open mind and don't expect it to be like the orginal cuz the concept
It's the same but they did change some stuff. I really really enjoyed it I think most people would enjoy it more if they haven't seen the original because otherwise you're just comparing something that was really fresh to a remake that has some changes and obviously won't be the same.
Has anyone watched I Spit on Your Grave (2010 version)? Creepy **** Some of it was edited for the UK though because of sexual violence. Wolf Creek is so ****** up.
Seems like another acclaimed horror movies is on its way sistrens this has gotten rave reviews from the festivals where they screened it.
Set over the course of the winter break at a rural boarding school, Kat and Joan are forced to become companions. However, what neither of them know is that an evil presence is stalking Kat, and what they experience will resonate across time and affect the lives of everyone they know.
Smart, frightening and emotionally astute, Osgood Perkins’ FEBRUARY might just be the most audacious and brilliant horror debut of the year. Taking classic horror themes and reworking them, Perkins cleverly crafts an intense film with razor-sharp tension and a suffocating, intense atmosphere which grips from the first frame and doesn’t let go.
FEBRUARY unravels at its own deliberate speed. What might initially be perceived as disjointed scenes start linking, and before long the whole horror of the story is revealed. But, in an unexpected move, the film also packs a brutal emotional punch, and will leave unsuspecting viewers with a huge lump in their throat for days.
Emma Roberts and Kiernan Shipka capture the aspects of being a high school student, but also a sense of loneliness. Their isolation is palpable, and the outstanding cinematography not only captures the emptiness of the school during winter break, but also the relentless chill of the winter outside. It creates a thick and suffocating atmosphere, giving the audience no respite whatsoever.
Easily one of the most brilliant efforts of the year, FEBRUARY establishes Osgood Perkins as a genre director with great visual talent and a remarkable number of important things to say. (Evrim Ersoy)
Emma is slowly becoming a household name in horror

Awesome I'm kind of bored with the same possession movies. I need something fresh and original for a change. They're so overdone and it's mostly the same formula.
Are there any new slasher movies good? I can't even remember the last one I saw, Scream 4 maybe? The past great horror movies have always been about possession and ghosts

Watch these:
Kristy (it's on Netflix)
You're Next
See No Evil (2006)
See No Evil 2 (2014, with Danielle Harris and Katharine Isabelle)
I just watched Intruders (or Shut In, it's also called) and I really liked it. It was about a woman with agoraphobia (can't leave the house) and what she does when robbers enter her home. Of course there's a twist
bitch is ****ing cray
but it's well executed and the acting is great.
