I am a stan, but I am realistic. There are still people who will still talk everything in a "Rainbow unicorn, everything is alright, have patience" way, but if you followed her for almost 10 years, like I do, you just have to admit, her several flaws and messes

I think you're confusing different parts of the world. Romani people were nomads from India who settled in Europe centuries ago and mixed with locals where they settled. Nicole doesn't look like this:

Nicole is basically a mix of Austronesian (Filipino, native Hawaiian) and white (Russian) with some Mongoloid ancestry (Filipino). She has a heavily Austronesian look so she can pass as other Asians. A lot of people think she's just Filipina, Indian, Cambodian, etc.

I really feel that she is pretty much insecure. In the media she calls it her "perfectionism", but she has been using that work since the first Her Name Is Nicole pushback back in 2007. She obviously got a big punch in her face, that her big dream of being a solo artist already started off the rough way, I feel she got so insecure at that time, along with her bulimia troubles, that she is still lost in what she wants to achieve, btu at this point, it will be to late to even achieve her dreams, she will have to deal with some decent results, if her new label atleast pulls the strings!

but honestly If I didn't know her mix I would think she's either Indian, Lebanese or someone from the middle east. Especially with her dark hair. I think her make up affects her look a lot, especially in the eye area. she looks more Austronesian/ SE Asian without the heavy eye make up.

There's no way she can be Middle Eastern. Lebanese people are Arabs and they look very Semitic or Mediterranean:

Nicole's look is very specific, but the problem is that most people aren't uneducated enough to know what it is so they just put her under anything "exotic". I honestly think it's negatively affected her career. This annoying white gay's comment has validity:

I think it's perception. Spanish surnames are considered sexy and attractive, especially on white people. Christina is white and Enrique is mostly white so people are more willing to accept them. Nicole's surname and far away looks are not familiar to some people so they steer away from her. It's actually the opposite for me. I take more interest in her because she's different.
