They nominated the most basic beyonce video for video of the year , Pretty hurts unnecessary got so many nominations just because it has a social message . The hell, the song is a moderate hit to say the least.

Drunk In Love getting VOTY nom = I kinda agree it didn't deserve since she released better but I understand it is her most "iconic" one from this era and it is still a very good simple video...
Pretty Hurts getting many noms = SEEEEEETHE! It's an amazing video regardless of the social message or its chart run.
Partition = It deserved even more noms... hell, they even should have nominated it for Best Rock just so the seething in here could reach a whole new level...
And yes, it is necessary to nominate an artist who worked really hard on something dedicated to art of music videos (which happens to be what the VMAs are all about) and achieved it successfully... it just happens to be Beyoncé dear. Sorry. Maybe your fave will do that one day...

I was so happy with Beyoncé noms because she deserved them.... but winning them with this "fan voted" sh*t is another thing...
Everytime I spoted Ariana Grande in a category I was like "well dam... no chance for the others"... and she is in a few with Bey
at no Gaga nominations. None of her videos deserved it anyway. Poor Roar got snubbed though. And Nicki too. LAN deserved a nom. oh we'll she has her bet award and the pinkprint era hasn't even started.
