I Luv This **** by August Alsina climbed to #1 on urban yesterday, and it's on its 198th day in the chart. Overdose has been on the chart for 13 days, and it's already #35. It's doing great, especially considering how the song sounds.

This forum focuses too much on people like Lady Gaga and Katy Perry who have their songs shooting up the radio charts at lightning speed. That's not normal, and shouldn't be expected for the thousands of other artists out there.

The fact it's doing anything on Urban is pure luck. We should target the radios that this song is aimed for and help it smash (since Ci can't help right now since she's planning her wedding).

Honestly, I'm beginning to feel like the rest of the squad about her/this era/od. It has died. She doesn't even acknowledge the fact that she has a single out, beside being "grateful" for receiving nominations. We don't even have a lyric video. Where are the tour dates? If she takes another year or two, she's basically over unless she drastically changes her image and blatantly makes another R&B smash like Body Party then follows up quickly with pop music and a strong pop push to reclaim everything she just worked hard for.

I have been trying not to freak out, and worry but lately I have. I wish she would actually keep us posted on things, rather it's good or bad news.
