But let's not act like Beyonce's discog. is anything innovative or creative.
Beyonce's DIL & BDAY both had a similiar R&B sound as her contemporaries. There was nothing NEW or FRESH about them. So let's not talk about trends or being dated.
Besides the known hits, they both have not aged well.

You should read what I said. I wasn't discussing Living La Vida Loca at all. I was using it as an example of how Latin pop songs aren't exempt from being dated. I wasn't discussing anyone but Jen.
I also already admitted that Beyonce isn't without her share of dated songs, but not that much. I agree DIL sounded very much like the times, but B'Day surely did not. The only person it sounded like was herself. It took the Crazy in Love Go-Go sound and expanded on it. Please name some albums that were popular then with that sound. FutureSexLoveSongs? Loose? The Dutchess? None sound like B'Day at all. The closest one would be Amerie, but let's remember Crazy in Love came first. Shall we get into Get Right too?
And why are we discussing if it has other sound-alikes when the issue is with whether it sounded dated. B'Day overall does not. It mixed in retro sounds so it didn't even sound that much like 2006 music then.
