Since I'll probably still be in Alberta for the summer, I ain't too concerned about getting a "beach body" as there ain't a damn beach here. We get days in July when its like 35-38 degrees, and the only place to go to cool down is your neighbours sprinklers.
^
We have lakes, and indoor pools. Other then that, we gotta spray each other down with hoses.
I remember they once issued a water-ban in July due to drought conditions so we weren't even allowed to use sprinklers. (you'd face a huge fine if you did.) Only in Calgary would they do a such thing during the hottest summer of the decade.

Well as of right now.... most of Canada is in for a very hot and dry summer. But that can change as long range forecasts aren't always accurate.
They did say that thus winter was suppose to be one of the coldest winters ever. but winter didnt even last a month and it didnt get colder then -2... Ihope for a rainy summer!!!
btw, where do you go in toronto to have fun in the sun? Windsor SUCKS... The "beach" is unacceptable tbh!
Well a drink on the patio is always nice! We have some nice parks to chill in. There are beaches (nude and not!) on Toronto Island. So nice and totally worth the boat ride over!

Last summer in my city was unbearable. Very hot and dry (in the range of 40c-45c) with wildfires spreading across the entire state.
I'm actually here for a rainy summer this year.
