You can't put the entire blame on the label, They attempted to promote it. She has video advertisements on youtube as well as banners right now, it's discounted for the 2nd time, & she's done a couple performances (one of them being way too early).

Like I've been saying all along, general public is just not here for this song. It's really catchy & one of my favorites but It's nothing new for radio. & On a worldwide note, It's just a poor idea to release a single praising the US, especially with the current political affairs going on.

They have to play the cards right with single 3 to revive the era. I'm thinking "Never Been Hurt", performances for this could work out nicely. I think one of her problems is that she's not a very visual performer outside of her just being beautiful. MITUSA on the TCAs was very plain. With NBH, maybe they could work in some pyro/flames for the chorus & definitely have dancers around her.

No shade, but Demi's performances has always been plain If she's going to make a performance plain, at least show off your vocals. That's why I think Nightingale would probably make the best third single because her performances will probably have a great effect on the song. Not sure about airplay, but if they were willing to play Stay or JGMAR, I don't see what's stopping them from playing Nightingale, right?

I agree but she has had times where she showed more effort in performing than now. During her first leg of the "Special Night With Demi Lovato" tour, she had props, dancing & changes. That was such a step up to me but since then, she's seemed to regress performance wise. I'm not expecting her to have choreography & go the Selena route because she's always been a vocals artist but It would be nice for her to make her performances more interesting.

During the Unbroken Era, she had some good performances also! Especially the Skyscraper ones, that set that caught on fire on America's got talent, the platform thing on DWTS & the tree of hearts on one of the latin award shows.

I feel like she could've had fireworks & dancers for MITUSA which might've encouraged people to purchase the song after the TCAs. It would've been much more memorable. I feel like people forgot about her by the end of the show.

And lemme list all the potential promos for this song that was missed cuz i'm pissed and i'm not happy and u guys can ignore me...

1st and the most important of all... if they send this to the radio in mid-june then her GMA summer concert series performance would help sooooooo much more and while releasing the behind the scenes of the MITUSA music video will help her that week.

2nd. She could be booked for the Macy's 4th of July concert but she was booked for the Philly one, whichever is fine since both of them are televised... but she cancelled it.............................................. (the video should be released that week also since she shot them at the BEGINNING OF MAY i think that was ready for a loooooong time...)

*oh and did i mention that the Prop8 thingy in the US (around the end of june or beginning of july i guess)? The same-sex marriage thing? This could even become a gay anthem since it's about love in the USA around the 4th of july.

3rd. She could be having her tonsils removed the week after 7.4 if she had a televised performance on 7.4 + the mv release + all the hype on radio and downloads + all the gays love this song... she don't need to do anything tbh...

4th. Since she needs like 10 days of vocal rest i wouldn't mind her do a talk show + performance on friday that week (which is on the 19th of July)

5th. She can rest for that week (7.22 - 7.28)......

6th. Maybe she could do another talk show + performance...... (7.29 - 8.4)

7th. TCA performance as usual (8.11)

8th. then go to africa and come back two days before the vmas... at least she can perform at the pre-show since if all the above happened MITUSA will be at least a moderate (or a top 10) hit then...
