They could have kept this episode! What a waste of an hour. Why the hostility towards Andrea? Are they not happy to see her alive and well? Isn't this someone who started with them? I just don't get how Andrea could be the odd man out with Merle in the same damn room
What was the purpose of introducing that other group into the prison if you were just going to kick them out by the next episode? I'm actually happy that they're helping the governor. Serves Rick right! I'm so sick of him.
This is painfully turning into a boring psychological drama.
I'm not a big fan of gory scenes but the last 2 episodes had at least 70% filling material...
That's the best part for me.
Seeing them physically and mentally break down makes it even more realistic.
If it was just full of shooting zombies, it would become cliche and predictive
after 3 seasons.
I think they've done a great job of allowing people to become emotionally intuned with each character.

I felt the same way about Tyreese's group being introduced and getting kicked out at first but now I think they (or at least Tyreese and Sasha) will become important in helping the prison group in the final confrontation with Woodbury... Maybe they will work with Andrea or something.
And they already knew Andrea was alive and literally with the Governor, they had every right to be hostile, they were afraid she could be setting them up for another ambush. I still hate Merle but at least they know he has no more ties to anyone.
Some people here are just ridiculous. They expect one hour of action every damn week but where's the trade off with that ? I mean without these emotional and psychological undertones this show would have no leverage and character. These "slow" moments are so deep and character driven.
why are people here making this comments like "waste of time" "show is becoming predictable" "boring"
I think the producers and writers know what they are doing... this show isn't all the about zombies, its about an apocalypse... its about survival... if I was on a situation like that I would also be mentally freaked out... to me they are teasing us. and I don't find it predictable at all. I really don't know whats gonna happen, last episode I really thought rick was going to get bit, and look what happened. don't expect action the whole episode. if this were to happen then characters will die, and they will be no characters left at all... to me the pacing is perfect.
also about the new group, I think Andrea is starting to see how the governor really is, when the new group meet andrea they will tell her about the governor's plan, andrea will tell them, the governor is the bad guy and end up defending the prison... I might be wrong, but they sure wont act against the prison
This episode was a bit filler but I'm not complaining about that...my only complaint was Rick's behavior toward Andrea. It just seemed irrationally misguided for no apparent reason when there was really no need for that. But honestly, I just don't care for Rick this time around, but at least he was mentally stable this episode (or so it seemed). Next week's episode seems like it's going to be cray, though.

Obviously Rick thought Andrea was going to act against them... Again it goes back to my last post, if this would happen in real life, people would change, people would try to do what's best to survive... And Rick was only protecting them, he thought since Andrea was with the governor she would be on his side... If you heard when Rick told her "welcome back" you'll see they care for her... Even he gave her a gun and some ammo when they are even running low on that...

Yeah I came to that realization, he just seemed so 'forceful' if that's even the correct word lol. But yeah, their guard should've been up considering prior events but it just seemed a bit much. Essentially though, I'm just not liking Rick this time around; I think that's where most of my underlying criticism is coming from.

I can agree about that but the toned down material from this season is completely uninteresting. In Season 2 they always had something to keep us on the edge of our seats and I don't necessarily mean zombie shootings. The drama, the character development everything was on point, unlike this season.
This week episode was ok but I don't understand why people say it was bad or filler. If a zombie apocalypsis ever happen that's exactly how we'd all act, not all the episodes have to be about killing zombies, they have to show you the desperation and all the pain that the survivors will have to go through in a hopeless world.
I think the following episodes will be more interesting since the other group will "work" with the governator and they will try to get into the prison the same way they did before. IMHO, I think that Rick and his whole group has to get the hell out of there and move to somewhere else, I mean they're running out of food, they look like they haven't showered in years and it's gettin' riskier to live there.
