Now that that faux shock has worn off, this album is garbage. ... Beyonce is not one of those artists known for originality, being innovative, or creative, and while I'll give credit that she tried to do something different, this is a no go. The novelty has definitely worn off, and won't be one of those albums that'll be played for years to come. But hey, since this generation is obsessed with videos, I guess you can look forward to that. Because clearly the material isn't good enough to stand on its own without visual imagery.
True, Madonna from 1997-now has shown more diversity than Moo in her entire career
You clearly don't know what you're talking about.
The rap collabs, the dance remixes, the 80s throwback album, the neo soul independent album...oh you meant tacky and mainstream electro pop repeated over and over again.
The reason that 4 flopped and BEYONCÉ is doing so well is because Beyoncé was trying to be a legend before it was her time. That album was honestly a buffer to make her a legend though because of it's homage, and the music which was so classic feeling. That's the same thing Christina tried to do with BTB but that was wayyyyyy too soon to do something like that and with Bionic she wasn't legendary enough and the music was to trendy and current. If she had went the Adele route she would be one, but she prefers to make trendy pop music so that didn't happen. The greatest hits album was also a huge mistake because she doesn't have nearly enough and definitely not at the time. Also, not myself tonight is trash.
Beyoncé, that one was an ICON by 4 but it took her doing the Superbowl, Pepsi, humongous tour etc. for her to really become a legend.
I wish 4 would have been that album instead of Beyoncé.
