Ariana is really the only proper STAR to emerge in the last couple of years from the music industry, and now she is faltering too.
lol Ariana is not a star. I bet less than 1/10 of my friends would have any clue who SHE is. She just apparently has (had) some huge fanbase somewhere. If they were able to identify anything about her, it'd probably be the donut incident.

I object. She has 46m Instagram followers, that's a ridiculous number and clearly indicates her appeal/awareness is pretty generalized. It also explains how she was able to sell out a global arena tour. And Donutgate wouldn't have received the attention it did if no one cared about her as a person.
A lot of my extended family loves his music, and I know for a fact they don't know. I doubt people would care, but I also think that they generally don't know or care about him.
