the album is good but it definitely picks up at track 8. i was bopping through the first half on my first listen and then when i got to the second half i was like
i havent listened to the first few songs (except DLWML) since then because the others are too good
Yeah, the single choice finally makes sense now. Epic wanted to lock down her core audience with the only urban song on Jackie, then drop the album so that her core fans will buy it and then (hopefully) turn it into a pop crossover era
It's like Basic Instinct (You Got Me) on steroids
