The Dorne scene with my queen Olenna and the Sand Snakes + Varys was everything Queen Olenna CLOCKED the other girls "Let the grown woman speak"

The finale with Dany sailing She's coming for blood (and fire)

I'm slain by this season. So far it was definitely better than the last 2 seasons combined.

I think Margaery's death is legitimately the worst of all the main characters thus far. Like, everyone else died at least in part for some stupidity on their end, or a fatal character flaw. Marg played the game perfectly and outwitted her enemies every step of the way, and was cheated out of her rightful victory #justice4margaery

Cersei got bumped up from a villain I'll miss and admire, to someone who needs to die slow like Ramsay & Joffrey.

The worst part about her death is that it completely robbed me of the satisfaction of seeing the High Sparrow die. I've been waiting for his pompous ass to die for so long now and my enjoyment is severely tempered by what happened to the Tyrell's.

I think Margaery's skill at the game was her fatal character flaw. She played the game brilliantly, but she was stuck in the mindset of the game. She couldn't anticipate Cersei's desperation when Cersei's back was against the wall. Margaery followed the rules and Cersei flipped the table.

I totally agree. What's so tragic about Margaery is that she was smarter than almost all of her contemporaries and remained a step-ahead; she just kept hitching her wagon to men who weren't as sharp as she was. It happened with Renley, with Joffrey, and -- finally (and tragically) -- with the High Sparrow. The High Sparrow grossly underestimated Cersei, something that Margaery never would have done. You can see this moment of realization on Margaery/Natalie Dormer's face right before the wildfyre went off, as she heads towards the exits while the other lemmings just mill about bewildered. It's like she's thinking, this smelly old f!ck just got me and my whole family killed.

According to the actress Margaery was great at the game, and she was correct in guessing that something was wrong. Her death was as a direct result of the Sparrow underestimating Cersei, not thinking that she'd go that far and thus not allowing Margaery too leave.

In hindsight she probably wouldn't have gotten far & still been killed but nevertheless I blame him (and Cersei ofcourse) for her death.

I don't think Margaery followed the rules, she was cunning, sassy & brave when she needed to be (must've gotten those traits from Olenna) but with her brother holding her back she was fooled, and not allowed to escape once she finally realised what was happening.

Yeah Margaery deserved a better ending. Making so much noise instead of just leaving quietly when she suspected something was going to happen was her only real mistake. The only positive outcome of how well she played the game was that she saved Olenna by getting her out of KL, but that's a small positive since the Tyrell name will basically die with Olenna. And Cersei had a high price to pay for taking her out. She could easily have kept her alive along with Tommen, but she chose not to.

That was another component of her downfall; as Cersei has said in the past attachments make you weak. Margaery perhaps could've discreetly left but that would mean leaving her brother and she loved him more than anyone else in the world.
