Ugh, that sucked sooooo much. I was banned for the WORST possible time as a stan. Before Bang Bang and Anaconda cover had came out until now.
In general, this has been such an exciting year for Nicki and even for us just watching her. The way she suddenly dominated the game with the Bang Bang/Anaconda whammy. To add fuel to the fire, a flawless remix with mother. f***ing. BEYONCE.
I literally screamed the first time I heard it. Her verse was everything I want from her on TPP. I know I'm late, but can we TALK ABOUT this remix??????

Now if only Bey had put the damn song on itunes. I'm kind of pressed at her for that, ngl. BUT, I'm so proud of Nicki. This was such a milestone for her.
Now, on to Anaconda. When I first herd the LQ snippet, I was one of the ones who straight up hated it. I was so disappointed. People on here and Twitter tho were doing too damn much. Nicki is a grown ass woman and just because we think she should do something, it's her career. After hearing the HQ version, I still thought it was trash. Catchy, infectious, ratchet, campy, twerkable trash tho. You can't help starting to love it, it grows on you. Tbh tho, I felt the same about SH and RIM. I didn't really appreciate them until I understood what she was trying to do. THE VIDEO THO >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Omg, like.... what even.
Her choreo (Casper is a welcome addition), her looks, the PINK WIG!!!!!!!! Ugh, I'm so here for more of Oscar's colorful wigs. I bet they absolutely **** on Terrance's. Needless to say, the video sealed the deal for me. I love the song now and I'm really glad people seem to be reacting well to it, except for the typical haters and conservatives.
I don't even stress Youtube dislikes or comments or whatever. It's all just breeding grounds for lunatics and trolls. Nicki obviously does not give a **** what people think of her or her music anymore. I'm happy she feels so comfortable with herself now. Compared to her attitude last year, she's grown so much.
I'm really really really ready for Nicki to smash with a LYRICAL song now tho. I know she can. Regardless, I am so excited for TPP. Based off Lookin Ass, PnP, and Anaconda, I think the album is going to be more or less what she envisioned for PF:RR, only a lot stronger lyrically and a lot more cohesiveness.
